Great Griffon, Grenadier Battling Behemoth

From Grenadier Miniatures, the Great Griffon, one of the Battling Behemoths. The mark on the inside of the sculpt says 1977. Finally completed for a friend of mine, the excellent thinker and author Ernst Wilhelm. Sculpted by Andrew Chernak, and painted by Anne Cooper. This figure is quite large, almost a foot high, and very heavy (14 lbs of lead).  It was a special figure that was obtained only by collecting & sending in all the proofs of purchase for the collection of Grenadier Models Dragon Lords series. A true pleasure to paint such a rare figure!
